Anthropologie

if only Vancouver had an Anthropologie store!

fashion, home items, jewelery, shoes, I would live in there.

probably best on my pocketbook that we don’t have one..

bedding

bits and pieces
this would be perfect in a bathroom, on the back of the door! or if you had a large enough bathroom and family, on the wall for robes and towels. super cute.I have a spoft spot for cephalopods

dachshund door stop!

this funny owl would be perfect on those light switches that are very prominent in the room. I’d paint it though I don’t like the distressed owl look.

I would use all of these in my entrance hall coat hanger, the posts would need to be cut back though. to use a bolt to hold them in the board that has really bad hooks on now.
( I know these are knobs but seriously the one I have now is knobs and is terrible they are too small and too round these would be perfectttt.)

yes and yes.

when I was little I had regular pencil like this,I thought it was really cool, pencil crayons take it to a whole new level of cool.

Cupcake toppers

this is a super easy and fun way to doctor up some cupcakes!
(click the images to make them larger for detail)
write out what you want on the toppers. and cut around the word with a knife,  make sure you leave enough room between the letters or images.

make a score line between the letters, but dont cut the full length of the letters

they act as a marker so you can see where the toothpicks will be placed in between

after the toothpicks have been placed between the markers you put a piece of scotch tape over the backs of the toothpicks.

now cut along the score line from the back with your knife.
PERFECT!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

to make them more professional looking repeat the image from the front on the back and glue the toothpicks in place by covered one side of the paper with glue from a glue stick and press the paper together to hold toothpicks in place (I was in a rush, so the easier method was used)

matryoshka!

little mothers with bright colours! how fantastic

done by Audrée Lapierre

I have seen these plain wooden ones before in art stores and not really been interested because the traditional painting I find a  little creepy. person inside of person inside of person.. mini ladies all stacked. But I find these beautiful and want to paint some myself, in a non traditional lady faced way, maybe store some craft stuff in them. inspiring!

Bike Bag

I made a bag for my bike, I was going to go out and buy one, or just wear a backpack. But one thing that is bad about a back pack, is in the heat sweaty backs occur. So I opted for making a bag for the front of my bike, for storing whatever; bike lock, blanket, sweater, towel, sunblock, snack foods, the options are endless.

I used some fabric I had leftover from making curtains that I bought from ikea. touch of whimsy for my regular looking bike.

finished the lining so it wont snag on anything and fall apart!

goodies

Pinocchio tape measure, I actually have this in my sewing bench! This guy is super fun to have.

ICE CREAM PICNIC!
haha if you can’t wait until you get home from your picnic in the sun to have some icecream bring it along!

sloshed milk bowl, it’s pretty funny but I don’t know how often it would really be used for cereal

oh yes please, nice pizza knife, I know I’m tired of gooey knife handles!

A perfect tea bag mug. Holds that string in place so it doesn’t fall in the cup when you’re pouring the water in!
