okay so i have tried a new recipe. anyone else who tries it please give feed back to tell me if it is alright or if i should just take it down.
Stevia leaves a weird taste in your mouth after you eat it like what splenda does.
And stevia is so severely sweeter than sugar the substitutions are catastrophic.
2 tablespoons stevia = 1 cup of sugar according to the stevia I have.
these cookies have a good flavor while you’re eating it but afterwords it makes the back of your tongue feel weird and taste weird. I don’t know if this is normal for stevia to do. The texture of the cookie is crisp, does fall apart in the mouth, but you can take bites from the cookie and it won’t flake apart in your hands.
here is the recipe
1/2 cup earth balance margarine
1 tablespoon stevia
1 egg
3/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup oats
3/4 cup unsweetend shredded coconut
1/4 cup chocolate
2 tablespoons milk
375F for 15-20 minutes
squash 1/4 inch thick on pan
I think I will stick to trying to do different stevia biscotti. those have seems to work without fail.
